papa john's is better than domino's, little caesar's, and pizza hut. pizza hut is the worst chain because every time i eat there i get sick, and i've eaten at several locations in different states. i'd rather eat a mediocre little caesar's pizza than something that's going to send me to the bathroom 4-6 times
Americans go batshit because the "fries" they do are straight cut chips going on almost wedges, they're good but they're just chips.
Their burgers they make to order, they'll take straight beef mince, make the patty, grill the shit out of it, toast your buns, all while you're there watching them.
Its fucking amazing, I'd say at least Five Guys UK its the burgers that are the gem, not the fries.
the burgers are way better than the fries honestly. you can order a grilled cheese with burger patties on it, and it's consistently great. the fries are honestly kind of bland compared to some other fast food fries i've had
One thing about Five Guys' fries is that they fry them right there from whole potatoes, and they always even have written on a whiteboard where the potatoes are from and what oil is being used that day. I actually really like how they season them, at least here in Philly metropolitan area. Probably some of the best fries out there, at least from what I've had. Checkers has pretty good fries, too, but I haven't had them in years.
Everyone can agree that Five Guys' burgers are outright supreme, though. Just a huge hockey puck of beef packed denser than a damn white dwarf, loaded with toppings and it's all fresh. Just an insane amount of food tightly crammed into about the size of a softball.
imho whataburger's chicken burgers can easily fight chick-fil-a and earn that S-tier alone.

Dunkin' Donuts coffee kinda tastes watery to me, but then again Starbucks food kinda sucks and Dunkin' Donuts makes breakfast sandwiches that could put Panera Bread on a run for their money.

It can be watery, although Starbucks around here is often the same way. I find it's more often the case when you get an iced coffee at either (though that would be from the ice melting over time, I imagine). That being said, you buy just a bag of grounds at DD or a whole Box O' Joe, and it's pretty slammin'. Plus DD's fairly inexpensive and their whole calling card is the donuts, which are always good and have quite the variety.
At Starbucks, everything is overpriced. While their coffee is marginally higher quality, it's not enough to justify the price increase and their food is just outright not as good. Although those pre-packaged protein boxes they have aren't bad. We sometimes find ones at the food pantry I go to and they make good easy lunches.
I think at Five Guys the actual quality of the fries is less important than the fact that you get a billion of them. You can order a medium fry and watch someone stone cold put a medium cup of fries plus two scoops of more potatoes than any mortal could possibly handle into a horribly greasy brown paper bag. It's amazing

On top of having one the best burgers you can get, you get enough fries to actually last you a during and after.
If you're in South Jersey/Philly, going to Subway to get a hoagie is like going to Sicily or Campania and going to Pizza Hut.

Fives guys is good but the one near me is on the same street as a bunch of smaller independent burger places that do equal quality burgers for at least half the price so its kind of pointless.
Hence why I haven't gone there in years. I think I only had 'em once or twice just because they were what was available at the time...
I like Krispy Kreme - they remind me of boardwalk food - but I also don't get the utter worship of them either. They're good, they're a novelty for me, but it's not like they're godlike...

Pizza Hut is shit. Their dough comes pre cooked in pucks and they literally spray that shit down with grease so they can try and squish out whatever the hell that piss poor imitation of a pizza crust happens to be. Only reason Pizza Hut deserves to exist is because it has stuffed crust.
Little Caesers is absolute shit. Their ingredients are shit, everything is shit. Also their pizzas cost like 6.50 here when a frozen pizza from walmart is like $3 and way fucking better.
I don't know why this is even an argument. Franchises are different everywhere, ever on a per state basis in the US. They may have similar menus across the board but I guarantee you that no matter what, people will think what they had was as absolute garbage while someone else had the time of their lives with the food they have received. KFC is actually a perfect example of this. While most agree that its trash, there are some KFCs in the world that are amazing.
Tiering fast food places is pretty much impossible because of this.

I've had it in Denmark and it's pretty shit.
Honestly I don't get the obsession with trying to rank fast food chains. It's like ranking various kinds of poop - it's doable, but in the end sorta pointless.
Denmark has/had a different and less serious owner though.
Domino's is actually pretty slammin' around these parts. Great flavor and the pizzas are thick enough for me to enjoy without being too bready for other members of my family. I only can get my hands on it very rarely, but when I do it's always a treat.
Domino is trash here in Switzerland and was more expensive than the local chains which are usually way better and don't use ketchup for their tomato sauce. as for subway, I've only had two different subs from them, one with meatballs and a BBQ beef one. they were both pretty shite and expensive. (recurring theme here). McDonalds seems to be the most consistent through the country, as I've had McDonalds from various regions but never had any weird tasting burger. I like Burger King for their Beef-burgers more than their Chicken-burgers, as i prefer McDonalds for those, but the quality has been appalling at times, at least in the one in the Zurich Main-station.

The whopper FUCKING SUCKS ASS SHIT FUCK. I have NEVER, EVER SAID ANYTHING BAD ABOUT A BURGER. EVER. Until I tasted the whopper. It's unfathomable how BAD it is.
Meanwhile, the only way for McD's to fuck up a burger is to throw shrooms on it. Otherwise, they'll nail it. Then they let you add in more stuff, and what was previously already great, is even better now.

PizzaHut is great aswell because, well, it just is. I love pizza, and its hard to get it wrong for me, so I guess that doesn't counts.
KFC is delicious. They got chips with cheese dip and bacon bits, it makes me bow down to them, and the fried chick is just… mmm
I'd love to try Taco Bell. Keep hearing about it, but I don't think we have it here.
