Those first few notes give me an intense sense of calm and nostalgia. Joy from a single man with a single instrument. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bs5QGN-zhwM

I could pick from dozens, if not hundreds of tracks old & new (The Halo trilogy & companions, Battlefield 2142, 1943 or Bad Company, Metroid Prime 1 & 2, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, pick-your-Ace Combat, and that's just from the top of my head), but having explored tracks I didn't give much ear to, I re-discovered this one that hit me like a freight train both with the memories of the incredible moment it scored, and the utter urge to have my hands on a Dualshock 2/4 to play it for myself & catch up on the PlayStation 2 legends I could merely spectate in the console's heyday!: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wlPK_53Rrhw

My music taste changed through all my life but one thing never changed - I love the Unreal (and similar) tunes https://youtu.be/nbUlViF8vZw Back in old days some games played music during installation, this one is the most memorable one. and then this https://youtu.be/1siPgAVOAtU game was absolute mess, (rushed developement after almost decade of juggling ideas and concepts) but it had so much atmosphere even most games these days could be put to shame.
Why not both? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ro8zQtOvmx8

Moreso for the series it was associated with than the game itself, but: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H37aEEzPfuo
