If I had to guess, since we saw spooky skellington WW2 in the Guillermo trailer, and now spooky skellington WW1 in this one, as well as Mads and his skellington squad in modern gear, I assume the game will take you to multiple historical battlegrounds via the spooky skellington realm, and Mads will hunt you in each of them in era-appropriate gear.
It has the potential to cheapen any other message he may have had.
Vague metaphors for our society are great, "hurr durr walls" isnt.
Call me a jaded asshole, but I'm so sick of these kind of Kojima trailers. I hope the game is good obviously, but personally don't see anything to get overly excited for based on everything we've seen.

Politics don't exist in a vacuum, and characters actively charging politics in the middle of an apocalyptic crisis isn't exactly out of place. Kojima games are the last place to complain about politics in considering how anti-war and Big Brother government they got in the past.
I hate that we live in a world where "stop being cunts and come together" is seen as a political overtone.
Also no one can ever talk about walls again because its a political statement and not a super common metaphor for isolation that's existed forever

i like these trailers in the sense of it being from the exact lense the creator wants me to approach the story/themes of the game, like seeing it how he wants it to be seen at first. This can be done very wrong ofcourse but I think this does a great job IMO
I guess I'll be the weirdo and say what little gameplay that was shown wasn't very interesting. I hope there's more hidden beneath all those cutscenes, because the story and setting seem phenomenal.

Not really sure what stance to take seeing as it's not like he writes all his female characters like naked and disturbed, cause you have for example Meryl and The Boss.

But his face was used as a base for ocelot for the facial capture.
From what i heard on a show that Troy and Nolan north do, Troy doesn't allow/give permission for most studios to use his face model. I'm guessing it's because he's in so many games.
