Holy shit they're really going all out for this remaster

Oh my god that's hilarious, can't wait for this to come to Switch, always thought it looked neat but never had the chance to play it.

THQ is honestly doing everything I want. Spongebob, New Destroy All Humans, Rumors of a new red faction. THQ might have already won E3 and it hasn't even started yet.

fuck - I hadn't heard about the potential DAH. while I am not so much on the hype train for Bikini Bottom, I did love it as a kid - these are some solid possibilities. Hope it all comes out good; haven't really been excited for things that are coming up in gaming for a while now

That was the Spongebob Movie game, it was basically a sequel to this.

Now I cross my fingers and hope that Jimmy Neutron vs Jimmy Negatron or the original Jimmy Neutron game gets a remake or at least a re-release for modern PCs.

I do wonder if they're re-recording dialogues or using the old ones. I saw some gameplay and noticed that Mr. Krab voice in the game is not the same as the TV show.

I doubt they'd go through all this effort recreating the models and then just use the same 2000's era voice files. Clancy Brown is absent in a lot of Spongebob games for some reason.

I'd prefer the old voices. Something changed in the voices on the show that throws me. I don't like it. $30 is a pretty sweet deal I think.

i remember reading long time ago that thq (before it became thq nordic) wanted to remake battle for bikini bottom and made a survey for it. but many people said no to the survey because most of them saw gamegrumps play it very badly and thought that its just a broken shitty game.

I saw a bit of the game and I didn't expect it to be a collect-a-ton. was expecting your average stage-by-stage platformer, and the humour is fantastic. I do hope they fixed the camrea this time around, which seems to be the main problem of the game (which all 3D platformer falls victim anyways)

If we go by how well the Game Grumps play games then TTYD is probably the worst game ever made.

I only had Revenge of the Flying Dutchman, also published by THQ, that came out the year before BfBB. How similar were they?

I owned both as a kid. RotFD isn't bad but it's nothing standout. Their structures are incredibly similar BFBB did basically everything better in every way. BFBB can sort of be considered a sequel that completely eclipses the original.
